Anonymous asked: Of course. Just one more question, if you don't mind answering, and I'll stop prying. What do you mean by "was?"
Sorry, went to a movie. I mean I don’t really know for sure. I know at one point she was openly interested, but things have changed for her recently and I’m not as certain how she might view me. Whatever happens, I like to think we’ll always be the best of friends. But like I said, I’m not opposed to talking about it, I’m just opposed to posting it publicly. If you’d like to discuss this in private, depending on who you are, we can do that.
Anonymous asked: Do you think she'd be interested in you too?
Yes, she is, or at least was. I appreciate the questions, but I’d prefer it, if you really want to know, that you would message me in private. I’m not exactly a publicly minded person.
Anonymous asked: She certainly sounds like someone to be interested in. Why not go for it?
Because there are factors at work that neither of us have much control over.
Anonymous asked: Okay. What about this someone makes you interested in them?
She’s strong, beautiful, and kind. She stands up for what she believes in. She’s been through a lot, but she knows who she is and isn’t afraid to be that. She’s flawed, but she knows it. She’s… human. That’s why.
Anonymous asked: Why is it a hard question to answer?
Because it is. Yes, I’m interested in someone. If you really want to know more you’ll have to be more specific with your questions and/or come off anon.
Anonymous asked: Are you presently interested in anyone?
It’s a harder question to answer than it looks, but the short answer is yes.

Mental pain is less dramatic than physical pain, but it is more common and also more hard to bear. The frequent attempt to conceal mental pain increases the burden: it is easier to say ‘My tooth is aching’ than to say ‘My heart is broken.’ — C. S. Lewis, The Problem of Pain (via likeafieldmouse)
